What happens to your car when it arrives at Auto A.R.T after a collision?
It will go through a strict accident repair process carried out by our technicians so that we can return it to you in its pre-accident condition:
We check your vehicle over and record all the necessary details and you are given a free courtesy vehicle as soon as possible, regardless of who is at fault.
A complete repair estimate is then prepared, with accurate referencing to the manufacturer’s standard and specifications, to ensure that your vehicle will be returned to its pre-accident condition.
The estimate will then be transmitted to the relevant insurance or accident management company for authorisation. We discuss the repair with the engineer designated to your claim to ensure your car is repaired to the correct standard.
When we have received authorisation to proceed, the repair is then taken through four processes:
- Removal of the damaged parts
- Repair or replacement of the parts
- Re-finishing the parts. We have an extensive in-house colour scheme that can match and prepare over 100,000 different variants, from all manufacturers.
- Final quality checks and a machine polish to ensure the highest standard, replicating the factory finish.
During each step of the repair process, quality checks are carried out to ensure the safety, integrity and value of your car are maintained to the highest standard possible.
In the event of the repair costs being close to the vehicle write off limit, we will do our best to reach a set cost agreement with the insurance company. We can then save your vehicle from being a Category C or Category D loss and repair your vehicle with no detriment to the quality or safety of the completed repair.
